May 2021 - Jesus Helped Create the Earth

This month, let's focus on how you can help take care of the Earth Heavenly Father and Jesus created for you.

How are you helping to take care of Earth and all of its' creations? There are so many things you can do!

Here is a short list:

Be kind to animals
Pick up trash
Converse resources like water and fuel.

For the Little Ones: Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ created so many beautiful things for us. Earth, animals, flowers, fruit trees, water, stars, and grass. So many! We can show Them that we are grateful by cleaning up garbage, feeding our pets, saying “thank you” in our prayers and and teaching other’s to help out.

April 2021- Jesus Included Others

This month, let's focus on how you can include others as Jesus did.

How can you include others? Have you ever noticed someone alone and maybe a bit too shy to ask to play with you? You can ask them to join you. Some kids talk different, or need extra effort to feel included. Jesus included all people and especially made sure that children received his love and attention. Make it a goal to look for those who need to be included and find ways to involve them in what you are doing.

Watch this video of your Primary friends from the 15th ward talking about ways they can include others.

For the Little Ones: Like Jesus we can include others! If you see someone who might look sad or lonely think of what you could do to include or help them. We can be like Jesus everyday!
Jesus said “Suffer the little children to come unto me.”

March 2021 - Jesus Comforted Others

This month, let's focus on how you can comfort others as Jesus did.

How can you help comfort others? One way to think of ideas is to simply think about how you like to be comforted. These same ways will probably also comfort someone else. Can you think of someone you know who might need some extra comfort? Don't forget that everyone can benefit from being comforted. Read the plan shared in the article to help you prepare to comfort others.

For the Little Ones: When Jesus’s friend Lazarus died, Jesus comforted Mary and Martha.
How can you help someone feel comfort when they are sad?
Because Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ can’t be here in person we can serve and help comfort others for them.

Friend to Friend Event - February 20th

We invite children ages 3–11, their parents, and Primary leaders and teachers to participate in this event. It will include music and activities as well as messages by President Russell M. Nelson, members of the Primary General Presidency, and Elder Ulisses Soares.

You may view this event beginning Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. mountain standard time.

During the event, children will be invited to participate in activities. It may help to have a piece of paper, drawing tools, and scriptures nearby.

February 2021 - Jesus Shared the Gospel

This month, let's focus on how you can be like Jesus by sharing the gospel.

Have you ever shared a snack or a treat with a friend? Did you talk about how good it tasted? How did sharing with your friend make you feel? When you eat, you are feeding your physical body.

Did you know that when you read your scriptures, pray or think about Jesus you are feeding your spirit? Some of your friends might not know about Jesus and what he taught. They might not know how to feed their spirit. Just like you might share a snack with a friend, you can also share what you know about Jesus. When you tell your friends what you know about Jesus, you are helping to share the gospel just like Jesus did.

You can use the checklist in this article to make a plan for sharing the gospel with someone.

For the Little Ones: Jesus shared the Gospel by teaching the little children.

Here’s a coloring missionary tag that you can color and wear to remind us all that little children can be missionaries and share the Gospel too.

Jesus share the gospel by inviting the children to come unto him.

Children can remind us of the Christlike attributes required to enter the kingdom of God.

January 2021 - You Can Help Like Jesus!

This month, let's focus on how you can be like Jesus by helping others.

You can make a difference!

Pray and ask Heavenly Father what it is He needs YOU to do. Then, listen as the Holy Ghost speaks to you. You might notice a need you hadn't seen before or a specific person might be on your mind. Maybe you will be led to share a story or experience with someone. Just pay attention as the "still, small voice" whispers what it is that you can do to be like Jesus by helping others.
